Our Story

Bueker Development, Inc. began in June of 1992 when John Bueker, then a retiring General Motors Executive, wasn’t quite ready to “live the retired life”. His interest in building was inspired by his own recent home building experience. With the purchase of a family owned pole barn building company, including its talented carpenters, an old van, and some tools, Bueker Development, Inc. was born.

Building a home is a process involving dozens of people, trades and suppliers, and hundreds of personalized decisions. Let us guide you through the sequence with quality, finesse, and budgets in mind.
Planning that Budget.
Big dreams need mindful consideration. Every home has a needs, wants, and must-have list of amenities. No one size or price per square foot fits all. Come prepared with well thought out characteristics that define you.
Customize My Home!
With an abundance of designs waiting for you from one plan website to another, many features can be quickly chosen. Most plans with permission from the architect can be modified and made custom. And then of course there is the “white canvas” approach with all new lines drawn. Let our expertise guide you through the many options.
Timelines and Other Details...
No two homes or sites are alike. Survey data, easements, waterways, homeowner associations, and many other land-use rules make each property unique. The placement of your home on the property is critical. Utilities and services must be factored in. Your home comes to life with amenities that are often unseen, all of which will play a role in the overall timing from ground breaking to move in.
